"Let There be Peace on Earth and Let it Begin with Me"; Christmas Dinner for the People of

Yesterday was a beautiful experience with women and families from all walks of life coming together to share in the true spirit of Christmas. Volunteers, caregivers, social workers, artists, and clients were sharing and giving love and gifts. Delicious dinner was generously provided by Wingz and More . With the sponsorship of Praise 95.3 FM, doing a warm clothing and gift drive, donated gifts were given to every child who attended. Significant clothing, toys, and necessity donations were given to our women and children by Boot Camp Fitness and Kelly Construction. Our keynote speaker, Jewell, inspired the audience with her harrowing story and ultimately triumphant message. The amazing Women of the Arts KC joined in the musical celebration contributing beautiful sounds of spiritual singing. A special heartfelt thank you to Mary Moore, Toni Oliver, Lisa Henry, and Rogina Hardin for gracing the Emancipation Station with their wonderful musical talent and powerful healing words.
