Yesterday was a beautiful experience with women and families from all walks of life coming together to share in the true spirit of Christmas. Volunteers, caregivers, social workers, artists, and clients were sharing and giving love and gifts. Delicious dinner was generously provided by Wingz and More . With the sponsorship of Praise 95.3 FM, doing a warm clothing and gift drive, donated gifts were given to every child who attended. Significant clothing, toys, and necessity donations were given to our women and children by Boot Camp Fitness and Kelly Construction. True Light Family Resource Center Elects 2017 Board of Directors Kansas City, Missouri - True Light Family Resource Center a 501© charitable organization whose sole mission is to serve the homeless in Kansas City, recently elected four new members to serve on their 2017 Board of Directors. The board consists of thirteen members, all from the Kansas City area, and at a recent board meeting President, Vicki Copp welcomed the newest members, Carla Hayes with BHC RHODES, Katie Donaldson with Nazarene Theological Seminary, Shannon Neal, Arvest Bank and Debbie Swearingen with CommunityAmerica Credit Union. Centric Projects Selected True Light as Their Charity This Year

Centric Projects held their second annual #carolinginthecrossroads adventure - they went to different clients and businesses in the crossroads and sang carols in their ugly sweaters and costumes and collected money for True Light Family Resource Center.
